Email notification puts you at risk for payment as it doesn’t guarantee my immediate receipt of your notification.

48 HOURS NOTICE PRIOR to the start of a scheduled appointment is required to avoid payment for a session cancellation.

If 48 hour notice cannot be given, contact me immediately to explore the possibility of rescheduling.

All client information is confidential and stored in encrypted files.  Zoom sessions are also encrypted. 

Note: You are at risk if/when you send messages via text/SMS.

Client information is released only with your written consent.

Exceptions to confidentiality are:
When I am court-ordered to disclose confidential information.
When there is evidence of danger to another person.
When there is evidence of danger to you as in the case of an emergency.
When there is evidence of child abuse and neglect. **

** In 1993, the Maryland Attorney General’s office required reports of disclosed child abuse & neglect, even when the abuser is deceased.

There are two payment options:
(a) Payment per session.
(b) Payment invoiced at the end of the month (this includes a $5 service charge.)

Accepted means of payment: Check; Cash; Zelle; Venmo; and PayPal. 

PayPal charges invoiced at the end of the month include both the $5 service charge plus PayPal’s service charge.
